Summary: One Thursday lunchtime the Earth gets demolished to make way for a new hyperspace bypassand Arthur Dent is plucked from the planet by his friend Ford Prefect. Now travelling on the spaceship Heart of Gold there is just the small matter of escaping the Vogons, avoiding being taken to the most evil world in the galaxy and teaching a spaceship how to make a cup of tea as they head towards breakfast at the end of the universe.
