Summary: Avery McShane and his friends Billy and Todd call themselves the Machacas gang. They have their own club tree house in the jungle, away from girls, parents and other nosy adults. Each week they set themselves a dare, and one week the dare is to grab some ripe bananas from the scary Pablo Malo's banana plantation. Avery's adventures really start when Pablo Malo catches them trespassing and shoots Todd in the butt with his shotgun full of rock salt. From then on everything gets a mite out of control! Things get blown up, folks get kidnapped and there is a lot more gunplay, just like in my favourite western movies. When Pablo Malo sets his terrifying guard dogs after them, the friends have got themselves into a thrilling and explosive adventure. But why is Pablo Malo so keen to keep them off his farm?
